ZPS 2.0 Release Date!
After waiting for quite a while now, the ZP!S team finally announced the release date for Zombie Panic 2.0. This big patch with lots of new features will come out on the 31th of October 2009!
The team posted on their website: “Included is a new game mode, which is currently codenamed as “ZPA”. As we get closer to release, we will detail more about this game mode. But we aim to release ZPA with *two* new maps, as well as a slew of features and enhancements that are ZPA-exclusive.”
Entirely new to us is the adding of ‘objective beacons’ (see picture below). Implemented in every ZPO map will be waypoints to guide the players.
Beside that, a new contest has started as well, starting now and ending October 17th 2009. This is a prop modelling contest. Winners can earn some nice money: 1st place $200 and 2nd and 3th can both earn you $50.
